The Model for Material Movement and Vessel Service

In 1996, ECO had a vision to create a truly workable solution to minimizing port turnaround time. The result is C-Port, a revolutionary multi-service terminal concept located at Port Fourchon. Today, the three C-Port facilities serve as the focal point of Chouest port operations, incorporating 24 specialized slips working around the clock to transfer cargo and provide support to deepwater offshore vessels. State-of-the-Art Port Facility in Brazil

Operations have begun at B-Port, a massive logistics support base and naval repair shipyard at the Port of Açu, located in São João da Barra in northern Rio de Janeiro-RJ, Brazil. Upon final completion, B-Port will feature nine 25.2-meter wide slips. Located near the growing Campos Basin, the facility comprises 574,200 square meters of total area, including 567 linear meters of straight docks and a 13,700 MT floating drydock. Inside and out, B-Port can fully support 15 vessels simultaneously.

Traditional Services, Uncompromising Service

While C-Port caters to the deepwater exploration industry, Martin Terminal assists in serving the supply and material needs of ECO's more traditional shelf drilling and production customers. Comprising over 75 acres, Martin Terminal offers extensive staging, storage, dispatching and lubricant services. Martin's north yard offers over 1,200 linear feet of dockside loading area.

An Innovative Solution for Loading and Storage

C-Terminal represents another important multi-purpose Chouest property at Port Fourchon. This innovative terminal facility features 1,400 feet of waterfront bulkhead property, over 226,000 square feet of outside storage area, and 24,000 square feet of warehouse storage space. The facility houses a bulk/cement/barite plant and provides customers with fuel, water, MI mud and drilling fluids for purchase on site. Additional features include 23,000 square feet of office space, three fixed-position cranes and 600 feet of adjacent bulkhead available for future development.

Meeting the Demands of the Future, Today

The northern development of Port Fourchon has enabled ECO to continue the expansion of port operations to meet future demands. The facility includes a towering fifteen-story covered drydock to perform preservation, repair and inspection projects on the largest of vessels. Construction is underway on additional facilities for loading, staging and storage.

Equipped for Heavy Lifting

Fourchon Heavy Lift is the premier heavy-lift dock service provider for the deepwater oil and gas industry in the Gulf. Situated on 35 acres at Port Fourchon, Fourchon Heavy Lift offers 1,500 feet of steel bulkhead frontage and 24-hour operations providing a variety of specialized services supporting both topside and subsea development projects. The facility is anchored by a 500-ton derrick crane and hoist, complemented by several high-capacity crawler cranes, rough-terrain cranes and high-capacity forklifts.

Setting a Clean Standard for the Industry

Clean Tank, LLC was established in 1998 to provide tank cleaning and fluid recovery services to oil and gas companies operating out of Port Fourchon. Clean Tank has since evolved into one of the largest tank cleaning companies serving the U.S. Gulf Coast. Services include cleaning of liquid mud, dry bulk, fuel, methanol and chemical tanks; fuel and chemical recovery and filtering; and cleaning of bilges, frac tanks, MPTs, cutting boxes, valves, baskets and other miscellaneous oil and gas containment devices and equipment.

Clean WasteClean Waste

Reducing Environmental Impact

Clean Waste is a fully integrated processing facility at Port Fourchon, using proven technologies for the treatment of E&P waste. Clean Waste can recover and recycle waste streams and process them into materials that can be reused. The facility reduces transportation risks of waste disposal while creating an opportunity for recycling its components into beneficial, reusable products. This significantly reduces the environmental impact relative to current disposal methods, allowing operators to improve their environmental performance and mitigate – or even eliminate – related future liabilities.
