• Full-time, 7/7 schedule

Functions

The crane mechanic will:

• Repair and maintain equipment associated with port operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on equipment associated with port operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment associated with port operations.
• Operate company-owned heavy machinery.

Requirements

The crane mechanic must have:

• A valid driver's license.
• A valid TWIC card.
• The ability to read and write in English.
• Vocational education; high school, commercial or shop training; or technical school.
• In-house and on-the-job training under the instruction of a qualified worker.
• The ability to provide verifiable references of past work experience.
• Authorization to work in the US.
