Functions

The insurance administrator provides high-level administrative support for the department and global insurance program and serves as the claims administrator for certain policies (auto, workers' compensation, etc.). The insurance administrator will handle a variety of duties, including but not limited to collecting and analyzing information to respond to various types of requests, maintaining reports, and communication with brokers, clients, etc.

Requirements

  • Decision-making skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professionalism and discretion
  • Computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Mail and Google Calendar)
  • Experience related to insurance matters preferred but not required

Compensation

  • Competitive pay depending on experience
  • 5&2 schedule, 40-hours per week
