Since completion and launch of its first vessel, the PSV Navegantes Pride, on September 21, 2006, Estaleiro Navship has evolved into a world-class facility, purpose-designed for manufacturing efficiency and employing advanced CNC technology.  Located in Navegantes, Brazil, Navship now employs in excess of 800 skilled men and women.  The facility features a 124,000 sq. ft. erection building featuring two 100-ton overhead cranes and twelve 40-ton overhead cranes.  The building allows the state-of-the-art vessels to be constructed out of the weather, reducing man-hours and increasing quality.  Navship follows Chouest’s unique design, build, own and operate philosophy, unique to the industry, and providing a lifetime warranty for every vessel, and allowing the company to offer mission-specific vessels of much greater value than competitors.
