With a charge to procure, install and operate safe and efficient subsea remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), Chouest affiliate C-Innovation (C-I) was born in 2007.  C-Innovation specifies the actual units, while Schilling Robotics of Davis, CA builds the actual ROVs.  Schilling is renowned as the hands-down technological leader in the oil and gas ROV field.  The C-I UHD ROV units feature five-function grabber arms on the port side and a seven-function manipulator arm on the starboard side.  Additionally, these high specification UHDs, combined with new situational awareness subsea visualization, navigation and worldwide satellite communications, provide an operational convergence with customers’ operational goals.  Now being installed on select Chouest vessels, these ROVs provide seamless and cost-effective solutions for customers.
