Started as Edison Chouest Boat Rentals in 1960, the Edison Chouest Offshore (ECO) family of companies now represent the most diverse and dynamic marine transportation operation in the world. In-house design and building capabilities have made us unique in the offshore boat service industry. Our ability to design, build, own and operate, combined with a corporate philosophy to provide customers with the right vessel at a competitive price, has proven to be very successful.

The company owns and operates a growing fleet of new generation offshore service vessels supporting a vast majority of the U.S. Gulf deepwater market, as well as a large independently owned fleet of research vessels. Our high-tech, high-capacity offshore vessels range from 87 feet to 348 feet, and are beyond comparison to any competition.
